Making Women’s Health Personal and Actionable

A few years ago, I nearly died.
For months leading up to that moment, I told my doctors something was wrong with me. I could feel it. But my symptoms — most significantly, a constant fatigue that made it difficult to get through the day — were dismissed, appointment after appointment. “Stress,” they said. “Hormonal shifts.”
I tried to manage it on my own, taking supplements to address each symptom, just so I could feel like myself again.
Then one day, everything escalated.
What had been a slow, confusing decline turned into something more acute. I ended up in the hospital, where I remained for weeks.
Doctors eventually discovered I was having a severe immune reaction to the supplements I had been taking, and my liver was failing. I spent years on high-dose steroids to stabilize my immune system. Only later did I learn that the original symptoms I had been trying to fix traced back to a gut imbalance, something that went undetected because no one was looking at the whole picture.
The hardest part wasn’t the illness itself. It was the realization that the healthcare system — an industry I spent years working in and believing in — had failed me, not out of cruelty, but out of constraint. My doctors were doing their best within 10- to 15-minute appointments. But there simply wasn’t enough time in those windows to connect the dots.
That experience lit a fire inside me, igniting the idea that became MyPattern.
Here’s the plain truth: Women know their bodies better than anyone. We feel the shifts, the signals, the things that are hard to name but impossible to ignore. And yet, we are constantly asked to wait — for appointments, for referrals, for someone to finally listen and take us seriously — just to get basic answers about what’s happening inside our own bodies.
I also know this: Each one of us is unique. The supplements that nearly killed me might help someone else. What throws one woman’s hormones into chaos might be totally unremarkable for another. There is no one-size-fits-all answer, and any health platform that pretends otherwise is not telling you the whole story.
MyPattern exists because you deserve better. You deserve information on your own terms, in plain language that makes sense and that you can actually use, without having to fight for it. Lab testing tailored to your specific needs as well as detailed analysis, and personalized guidance — from hormones and fertility to cycle health, perimenopause, and menopause. You deserve it all, in one place, built around your biology, not a generic average.
