About MyPattern
If you’re a woman 18 or older who wants to better understand how your unique health patterns impact how you feel and your overall wellbeing, MyPattern was built for you. We are a women’s health intelligence platform that integrates your lab results, symptoms, wearable data, supplement protocol, and medical history into a single, constantly evolving, holistic view of you. Accessible via our app and website, MyPattern not only surfaces patterns across time, but delivers insights and recommended courses of action tailored to you. MyPattern connects the dots longitudinally, establishing your individual, unique baseline derived from your data over time, not population averages.
The kernel for MyPattern was planted after our founder, Julie Frahm, nearly died. Following months of unexplained symptoms and countless appointments with doctors and specialists, Julie wound up in the hospital with acute liver failure, caused by supplements she’d been taking to address her symptoms. It would take even more investigation before the root cause was uncovered: a previously undiagnosed gut imbalance. Today, Julie is healthy. But that experience lit a fire in her. Julie created MyPattern to give women a better understanding of their own bodies; to equip them with the tools and insights that foster deeper and more productive conversations with their clinicians; and to empower them to more effectively advocate for themselves. Too often, women must endure and accept troubling symptoms as “normal,” when they’re anything but. MyPattern exists to change the paradigm and give women the agency to proactively take control of their health.
From menstruation to menopause, and everything in between, MyPattern supports you across every stage of life with insights, testing recommendations, and guidance, all tailored to your unique health needs.
No. MyPattern is designed to work alongside your clinician, not around them. We give you the longitudinal data, pattern recognition insights, and health context you need to make better decisions about your health in consultation with your clinician. Bring the personalized documentation we provide you based on your data, to your next appointment and feel empowered with organized data and the right questions to ask. Think of MyPattern as the intelligence layer between your body and your clinician.
Whether you’re trying to conceive, having painful periods, going through perimenopause or menopause, or simply wanting to make sense of what’s happening inside your body, MyPattern brings your lab results, wearable data, health history, and symptoms together in one place to detect meaningful patterns unique to you. MyPattern doesn’t diagnose conditions. Instead, we provide you with personalized insights that help you better understand your health data, identify gradual changes, and equip you with the information you need to more easily navigate your next steps.
No, the insights and recommendations that MyPattern provides are based on the information you share, but they are not a diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, or medical advice. Our platform is designed to complement, not replace, the relationship you have with your clinician. Think of MyPattern’s recommendations and insights as preparation tools created to give you and your clinician a complete picture of your health so your visits are more productive, targeted, and personalized. For diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment decisions, always work with your clinician.
Using The App
MyPattern works in three stages. First, you connect your health data: medical records, current labs, wearables, and supplements. The more data you connect the more MyPattern can do and the less you need to answer to get valuable information. Next, share your health story — your symptoms, concerns, history, and goals — to build your health profile. MyPattern then analyzes your data, identifies patterns, and generates personalized recommendations grounded in the clinically informed research — published studies, established medical guidelines, and best-practice standards — reviewed on an ongoing basis by our Physician Advisory Board. From there, MyPattern continues to refine your insights, as you log symptoms, upload new labs, and track treatments over time.
Start however you’d like. MyPattern is designed to meet you where you are. You might share your current symptoms and concerns, any existing lab results you have, and a list of supplements or medications you’re taking. Divulge as much or as little as you want. The more you share over time, the more personalized MyPattern becomes for you. Connecting your medical records and wearables unlocks deeper analyses, but neither is required on day one.
MyPattern supports secure connections to major EHR systems, including MyChart/Epic and Cerner. You can also upload PDF lab results directly — our system extracts the values automatically. If you prefer, you can enter information manually during setup. Connecting your records gives MyPattern the historical context to identify trends that a one-time snapshot might miss.
MyPattern currently supports most major EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Athena), plus wearables including Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop, and Fitbit. More integrations are on the way. If your portal or device isn’t listed yet, let us know what you would like to see. You can also still upload records manually during setup or in your profile by uploading PDFs or ZIP files.
Recommendations appear after MyPattern has enough data to identify meaningful patterns. This typically requires at least one connected data source (patient portal, wearable, or lab results) plus a completed symptom intake. If you’ve connected your sources and finished intake but still don’t see Recommendations, check back in 24 hours. Analysis can take time depending on the volume of data being processed.

Privacy & Data Security
Your health data is sensitive and deeply personal. MyPattern was built to ensure that it remains private and secure. When you choose to share your data — whether from wearables like Apple Watch, patient portals like MyChart, or health apps — you remain in control, determining what information to share and how long we can access it to pull in new data. All data we have already received is subject to our data retention and privacy policies. We analyze your information to create insights tailored to you, identify patterns unique to your health, and provide personalized recommendations, such as lab tests and lifestyle changes, to help you better understand what’s happening with your body and start feeling your best. And, rest assured, we will never sell your health data to advertisers, employers, or insurers. For more information, please visit our Privacy Policy.
MyPattern applies safeguards and protections to your health data, ensuring your private information is encrypted the moment you share it and while it is stored on our servers. Access to your information is strictly limited to the systems that power your personal insights. We never sell or license your health information to third parties. You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@findmypattern.com. Please visit our Privacy Policy for more information.
No, MyPattern does not sell your personal health data. Our revenue comes from membership fees and commissions on purchases through our platform. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform under strict contractual protections. MyPattern may use de-identified information to improve our AI technology, including insights and recommendations. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Ordering Labs
Yes. Results from your clinicians are often the richest source of medical history data. You can upload PDF lab results from any lab or clinician. MyPattern’s system extracts your results, organizes the results using standard health biomarker names and ranges, and shows all your results in one timeline so they’re easy to compare over time. You can also enter results manually.
Yes. Hormones are “chemical messengers” that play an important role in regulating your body’s energy levels, mental focus, sexual function, metabolism, sleep-wake cycles, and overall physical performance. When hormonal disruptions occur, some people may experience symptoms such as fatigue, difficulty concentrating, reduced exercise tolerance, slower recovery, mood changes, or changes in strength and endurance.
MyPattern equips you with a personalized, clinician-ready report based on your health data. It includes insights and recommendations, grounded in clinical protocols, that you can download as a PDF and bring to your next appointment. This documentation is designed to help facilitate informed conversations between you and your clinician.
Supplement Use
Supplements can interact with each other and with prescription medications. They can also impact your underlying hormonal health. Having a holistic understanding of everything you’re taking is essential to giving you safe, accurate, and personalized recommendations.
Yes. MyPattern checks your full supplement and medication list against existing information about possible interactions. If it finds combinations that may not be recommended, we flag it for you. This is especially important for hormone-active supplements used alongside prescription HRT, thyroid medications, SSRIs, or other drugs that affect hormonal pathways. MyPattern will surface specific concerns and recommend discussing flagged interactions with your clinician.
Perimenopause
Perimenopause spans the years leading up to the official start of menopause. During this time, a woman’s estrogen levels start to decrease, triggering menopause-like symptoms, such as hot flashes, irregular periods, night sweats, and insomnia. These symptoms can persist for several years.
While every woman is different, perimenopause typically starts eight to 10 years before menopause. For some, that means perimenopause will begin in their 40s; for others, it will commence in their 30s or 50s.
Yes. Hormonal fluctuations can influence how the brain functions, affecting mood, mental clarity, focus, and memory. During both perimenopause and menopause, many women experience symptoms like brain fog, irritability, anxiety, or forgetfulness when hormone levels shift. The good news is that these shifts are usually manageable. By understanding your hormone patterns and overall health, you can identify what’s contributing to your symptoms and work with your clinician to determine the right course of treatment.
Menopause
Menopause occurs when a woman has gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period, indicating her ovaries have stopped producing reproductive hormones. On average, menopause happens at age 52 but it can happen before age 40. For a formal menopause diagnosis, consult a licensed clinician.
Absolutely. MyPattern members can come to us for a better understanding of their hormone levels and whether they’re optimized for their symptoms and goals — not just if their labs fall inside a reference range. MyPattern tracks your treatment over time and correlates changes in labs and symptoms to help you and your clinician fine-tune your protocol.

Vaginal dryness happens when the tissues of the vagina do not produce enough moisture, causing irritation, itching, soreness, and other symptoms. Although vaginal dryness is commonly associated with perimenopause and menopause, it can happen at any age.
The most common cause of persistent vaginal dryness is a drop in estrogen during menopause. This can cause the vaginal lining to thin out, blood flow to decrease, and the vaginal tissues to produce less moisture. More than 15% of women experience vaginal dryness before menopause while more than half experience it after menopause.
Postpartum
Postpartum refers to the period immediately following childbirth, while you’re physically recovering from labor and delivery.
Every woman is different, so the effects of postpartum can vary. Although the immediate postpartum phase typically lasts six to eight weeks, many postpartum changes — including hormonal fluctuations, fatigue, vaginal bleeding, breast engorgement, hair loss, sleep disruption, mood changes, and shifts in metabolism — can continue for months or longer.
MyPattern helps you make sense of these changes by bringing your symptoms, lab results, supplements, and treatments together on one platform. By uncovering your health trends, highlighting patterns in your records and providing personalized insights, MyPattern helps you better understand your recovery and track your progress, so you can feel informed, supported, and validated.
Fertility & Reproductive Health
Whether you’re trying to conceive or simply wanting to make sense of your reproductive health, MyPattern brings your lab results, wearable data, health history, and symptoms together in one place to detect meaningful patterns unique to you. MyPattern doesn’t diagnose fertility conditions. Instead, we provide you with personalized insights that help you better understand your health data, highlight gradual changes, and equip you with the information you need to more easily navigate next steps in consultation with your clinician.
Menstrual Health
Period-tracking apps are great at telling you when to expect your next cycle, but they don’t tell you how your hormones are affecting you and your overall health. MyPattern not only helps you understand how your personal hormone levels are impacting your cycle, but also your sleep, cognition, mood, cardiovascular health, and more, so you can take back control of your health and start feeling like yourself again.
Yes. Irregular cycles, skipped cycles, perimenopause-related variability, and post-menopausal status are all supported. By bringing your labs, your wearable data, health history, and symptoms together in one place, MyPattern helps to detect meaningful patterns unique to you so you can begin making sense of what’s happening inside your body.
Most definitely. MyPattern is here for women across all life stages, including those who are on some form of hormone therapy like birth control.
Most cramps occur when the uterus contracts to shed its lining during your menstrual period. These contractions are triggered by hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. Depending on your prostaglandin levels, cramping can be mild to more severe. In some cases, menstrual cramps may be caused by an underlying medical condition like endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and pelvic inflammatory disease. If your cramps are severe, worsening over time, or interfering with your daily life, consult your clinician to rule out a serious health concern.
Sexual Health

Working With Your Clinician
MyPattern automatically generates a clinician-ready report you can download as a PDF. These reports include a summary of your lab and wearable data, treatment history and responses, and specific questions you might want to raise based on your data. They’re not designed to replace consultations with your clinician. Rather, they exist to make your appointments more productive.

It includes insights and recommendations, grounded in clinical protocols, that you can download as a PDF and bring to your next appointment. This documentation is designed to help facilitate informed conversations between you and your clinician.
Safety & Limitations
MyPattern is a tool for longitudinal health intelligence. It is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately for assistance.
MyPattern is a health intelligence platform, not a medical provider. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or replace your clinician. Everything MyPattern surfaces is meant to help you better understand what’s happening inside your body and to have more productive conversations with your clinician.
MyPattern is designed to help you to be the most informed patient in the room, not to practice medicine. We can tell you that your progesterone levels are trending low, that this pattern is usually associated with luteal phase symptoms, and that progesterone supplementation is a commonly discussed option. Whether you should start progesterone, at what dose, and in what form are all clinical decisions that belong with you and your clinician.
